Things your ought to know, especialy if you have an orchard, like we do.

This sweet thank-you-book was sent by Mail art Martha for my small participation in her joint mail art event (with Cascadia Artpost) Send in the Clowns.  Not long ago I looked up facts about Halloween because my class at the International Women's group where I volunteer teach English wanted to learn about it.  what I didn't learn is in thei book from Martha! Brilliant!

Fabulous, gorgeous stamps.  Could it be Mail art Martha and Jack clowns?

Many thanks Martha!

Coulrophobia and Cascadia's model city

Back before August, Cascadia Artpost and Mail art Martha teamed up for their celebration for Clown week: August 1-7 by inviting all of us to send clowns to them. You can see more here: http://clownparadeproject.blogspot.co.uk

Not only did they collect lots of mail art from what looks like (without counting) more than 125 mail artists. By sending my clown in, I got a fancy booklet with everyone's names and addresses as well as a history of the project and a visual snapshot of life in the tiny town of Cascadia - 'a near-future representation of  small city in Cascadia 1:87'.  Two of the nine pages included below).

Great project and fabulous documentation.  Thank you Mail Art Martha and Cascadia Artpost!

Clowns Mail art call - Cascadia Artist and Mail art Martha

Three mail art calls in one week! phew! I will try to send to all but will certainly be sending to this one!  One of my childhood memories is being on Bozo the Clown for my birthday!  I jumped out of a box and blew kisses. Huge doodle possibilities here!  Thank you Mail art Martha and Cascadia Art Post.  I will try to send one to each!

Roll up roll up the Walmarth catalogue arrives in Suffolk (UK)!

Wildly pleased to be on the mailing list for this other kind of catalogue   Trashpo mail is certainly not junk! There are so many highlights, I encourage you to zoom in and read every word! The catalogue/zine has a breadth not usually seen in promotional material.  There is philosophy: Do you know where the time went?, news, a fiscal report, spotlight on trashion, high art (Willow Keys) and trendy, down with the kids, art (Mason Keys), adorable sets, coupons and guidance about trashpo as a lifestyle.what more could you want?
IMHO this is an issue not to be missed! Huge thanks to Cascadia Artpost, DK, and Mailart Martha!

Olfactory Trashpo from Mail Art Mutt

What a joyful collection of trashpo from Mail Art Martha! While the news spins with the risks of air fresheners, Mail Art Mutt is sniffing obliviously.

This reminds me of one of Cleo's gatherings, with Martha's sense of humour and aesthetic. Woof, woof.

A Confusion of Doodles - the back and forth continues (I think)

So I recognise stuff and I don't recognise stuff and I think the letter came back to me in the same envelope it was mailed in with the same stamps.  That doesn't make sense.  But if it did, HOORAY! we beat the system, the over-priced, over-regulated system!  If it came from Martha, I might regonise her handiwork, that's odd and I see Mick has contributed and I thought Mick had had enough.

Whatever there is a lot here to peruse and REUSE, extend, transform, I guess.  I'd love your theory on the stamps.  Don't tell me DK is in the UK!
