Carmela and I have harmony and tea to turn to!

I love the subtlety and mark making of Carmela's work.  The colour of this piece thrills me!

I don't know how you are living in lockdown but there are four adults living in our house now... and I am mother.  That is my most recent excuse for not opening Carmela's mail art until now.  We are all covid free, although the two londoners may have had it, mildly, but let's agree that life has certainly changed enormously since my last blog.  I have continued to make a few pieces of mail art but have also been fitting in painting.  I need to create a harmonious world from what I see around me to cope.

I think Carmela and I may share that approach to pandemonium. I also love tea.

Thank you so much for a glorious burst of joy !  Below is my 'blog' reply, a recent egg tempera still life painting. I will find time to reply to your mail art sometime soon. Have a healthy and peaceful holiday weekend.

Braincell 1072

It's been a while since I sent a carved stamp or 150 cut artistamps to Ryosuke Cohen in Japan.  It's just that I felt my stamp was a slice of what matters to a 50 something American who is downhearted about society as a result of our elected president. with that in mind, see if you can find my stamp.  HInt, it's a self portrait and I am wearing a pink pussy hat.

It's great to be part of this project and in such good company!

Ready for market - mail art collage, MOO MOO MOO

Who's a lucky mail art recipient? ME! Not sure if you can tell, but this is a robust 8 - 9 inch rhomboid padded fiber art collage.  It even has a reather tree! I hope those are Amy's eyes… whoever's they are this cow is trapped in a flower body , dreaming of campfires. Many thanks and will be making some more mail art soon.

Amy has a new address… I have recorded it and erased it, just in case she doesn't want everyone to know! DM me if you need it!

European Trip 2015 Fractal Portrait Project

ARistide 3108 sent me a copy of his commemorative booklet about his Fractal Portrait Project trip.   I have scanned it all in order (I hope!) enjoy and thank you Aristide 3108. See you in the mail!
