Dada Trumph Motors Biden Our Time Nothing Will Change

Cascadia Artpost has amassed an unparalleled primer on Wealth in America with 32 additional billionaire Oligarchs.  It is a comprehensive read and probably already out-of-date…

Thank you Cascadia, this is a tour-de-force!

Biden Our Time in the Biden Wagon

For me political Mail Art is the about opening up a dialogue. If we want to change things we better talk about them and listen to each other.

This piece from Cascadia is hard for me to think about. The former guy was so polarising and much of what he did was obviously going to lead to heartache and disparity. the repercussions are far reaching and affecting us all and will do for a long time. But this guy isn't perfect.  HE IS FAR FROM PERFECT. and yet, I find myself wanting to give him the benefit of the doubt.  'In the round he's OK... well, at least he's better than the former guy," I say to myself when he does something that I disagree with or when he doesn't act quickly or enough. How do you thread that needle.  I need to think about that. Thank you Cascadia for beginning the conversation with me.

The Vampire Rhino Handler

Before the days of the internet, when you only had the nightly news, the dictionary, your teachers and an encyclopaedia if this card had come across my doormat I would have scratched my head and felt a teeny weeny bit stupid.  Instead I am on an internet-free airplane typing with the help of an overhead lightbulb.

I know Dada Trumph Motors is on a crusade to enlighten the world and Cascadia’s wonderful series on American Oligarchs is changing the way this mail artist uses the word ‘Oligarch’ and classifies the rich and famous .

Is that CT Chew, the retired mail artist in jungle mode, ready for handling? Is a

Rhino a RINO? Is extinction preferable to over-population?

Thee re a few of my questions at 36,000 feet.

Thank you Cascadia! I love the Color and the image and that lunar New Year stamp is eye-popping!

Dada Trumph postcard - Biden Our time

This is a very late blog about a piece of mail art I received from Cascadia Artpost!  Biden our time is a great tag line!  I LOVE IT!  Stay tuned for the 30 American Oligarchs!

Jeez, I am so behind. I didn't take the mailart I received in August (and hadn't yet blogged) to Maine.  I knew I wanted to savour every moment of my time there after missing a year because of Covid… the thing is I had so many catch-up jobs to do when I got back that Ihaven't been able to get on top of my blogging.  Let's not even talk about making mail art.

Thanks Cascadia! More blogging soon.

What does Cascadia Artpost dream about?

I reckon if it's diorama time, Cascadia dreams about scenarios with giants and minatures, cars and politics in a real world context. Perhaps there is even a little anthropomorphism…

On the other hand, when it's stamps scanned from other people's ephemera time, perhaps it's franking machines, lost tickets and blocks of colour.

When it's garden time, maybe Cascadia thinks of climbing a sunflower or biting into a giant peach.

and all the rest of the time I suspect when he dreams he's trying to fix the problems of the world, one rabbit at a time.

Big thanks! Wonderful.

Dance the Coo-Day-Tah

This genius piece of mail art arrived from Cascadia Artpost when Biden already had his knees under the desk.  Thank goodness. Cascdia's stamp is postmarked Jan 4th, but I can't believe he predicted the Jan 6th insurrection. I don't record when mail art arrives. I put it on the side of my desk and wait for a blogging window.

If they are teaching the Coo Day Tah at Dada Trumph Motors I hope they have a good lawyer, or and in with the FBI.

And if you had any doubt that mail art is time sensitive… I suspect the chair of the Republican party has some other business besides ceceding to attend to, like learning DIY pipe insulation and damage limitation for one Ted Cruz.

Thanks Cascadia!  Brilliant.

Dada Trumph Motors - Cascadia Artpost

As well as my DADA Trumph Motors booklet, I am delighted to receive these commemorative stamps, I am hoping they become collectors items when the Trumphreich are out of the whitehouse!

'We do not notice that democracy has weakened, because its institutions and habits remain…'

as we wait for Trump to concede, Cascadia's terrifying diorama of imagined (but not far from the truth) Trumph Motors reinfoces all that we are bearing witness to.

This dystopian scene is particulalry impressive, but also dastardly. what is more iconic than the pool where children and their parents (and some older men that you wonder about) gather to sail boats. It underscores how aberrant this situation is. Those faces are also hard to look at.

posters of clan members...

another stunning exhibition captured in a booklet. It is simply amazing.

Truck Education - 'the automobile = the sculpture of the 20th century'

This bumper edition of Dad Trumph Motors gives you all the knowledge you need to engage fully with Truck Month.  Cascadia helps us to understand that the posturing of the trucking world and the slogans and logos run in parallel to our current leader's philosophy.
There is no need to worry about fragile egos in Dada Trumph World.  There are plenty of armoured protections.  We can all rest easy that no one will be underwhelmed by the gladiator in chief in his Ford F series… "built tough".
As an aside, I would love to see Cascadia moving the 1:87 diorama figures and vehicles around for his photo shoot. What noises does he make?
It's great to see that there is plenty of art in Trumph world. Who could live without a plastic marble bust of the great leader (ruler)? Or a poster of our heroes - Ivanka, Jared, Betsy, Melania and the Ruler.
As I type I am listening with one ear about Bolton's firing/ resignation. I see Jared looking down with disdain at the 'Cold War Warrior' and get a little chill.

In the previous newsletter, I mentioned that Cascadia showed us how dystopian the world might be… These days, here and in the US I think we are seeing it in the flesh!

I think I'll hunker down and ride out the most recent storm. I haven't got a truck  Does a Landrover defender count?
Look carefully at the stamps.  We've got some hawks, a statue of the ruler and some scary warships as well as TRUCKS to enchant us.  Thank you Cascadia!
